2019 Sparkling Rosé Wine
Winemakers Notes
This wine pours a delightful pale copper; crystal clear with a steady stream of tiny bubbles. Redolent of Cabernet Sauvignon, with heady aromas of cassis and mint leaf dominant, but intertwined with some delicious yeasty notes of bread and toast. Creamy textured mousse onto the palate, with more cassis and a fresh, fruit forward style. The finish reveals layers of rich toasty characters. Whilst balanced with a touch of sweetness, the palate is definitely brut in style, leaving a clean crisp, and long finish.
Try this with mildly spiced dishes such as biriyani, samosas or kofta; grilled oily fish such as mackerel, or Mediterranean dishes.

Our refreshingly rare rosé is made from our cabernet courts grapes, all hand-picked from our very own private vineyards in Shropshire. We find nothing compliments it better than a generous bruschetta board piled high with everything from prosciutto, red pepper sauce, pea pesto and much, much more. So, open the doors (and a few bottles) and let the good times flow.
